Christ Anglican School in Nazareth celebrates Christmas under the patronage of Archbishop Hosam Naoum.

Under the patronage of Bishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem and Christ Anglican School held its annual Christmas Dinner on the evening of Thursday, December 15th, 2022. Bishop Naoum was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Rafa.

Archdeacon Samuel Barhoom, the Director of the school, his wife Mrs. Susan, Rev’d Nael Abu Rahmoun, Rev’d Canon Fuad Dagher, the members of the Board of Directors, the Academic and Administrative faculties, and the staff of the school were present.

Ms. Manal Saed was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Archdeacon Barhoom welcomed Bishop Naoum and those present and talked about the meaning of Christmas. After that, Ms. Shahira Marjieh read the Gospel of the Nativity, according to Luke. Then Rev’d Abu Rahmoun gave a meditation about the symbols of Christmas and prayed, asking for God’s blessings. Mr. Wisam Talhami, the head of the high school, talked about God’s timing. Finally, Ms. Rita Sabagh led those present in singing Christmas hymns. Bishop Naoum congratulated all present on the coming of Christmas and the New Year and thanked Archdeacon Barhoom and the faculties of the school on the continued advancements. At the end of the dinner, gifts were exchanged between those present, and the school presented a gift to all.
