Archbishop Hosam Naoum participates in the Executive Committee of the Middle East Council of Churches meetings in Jal Al Deeb Beirut.

Bishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, participates in the Executive Committee of the Middle East Council of Churches meetings at Saidat Al Beir Monastery in Jal Al Deeb – Beirut, Lebanon. Also attending the meeting were bishops, priests, laity, and youth from different churches. This is the first in person meeting for the Executive Committee after the twelfth General Assembly meeting earlier in May this year.

The Committee commenced their deliberations on the morning of Monday November 28th, and will continue for two full days.

It is worth mentioning that the Middle East Council of Churches is the ecumenical body that brings together the churches in the East, around a Christian Witness in the region where Christ was born, grew, died, and was resurrected from the dead.
