Archbishop Hosam Naoum welcomes Mr. George Noll from the U.S. Department of State.

Archbishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, welcomed Mr. George Noll, the Palestinian Affairs Unit Chief at the U.S. Department of State.

After Mr. Noll wished Bishop Naoum a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year, they both discussed the challenges facing the Christian presence in the Holy Lands. Bishop Naoum expressed his concern regarding the challenges and difficulties faced by Christians in the country, and specifically in Jerusalem. They also discussed the Heads of the Churches in Jerusalem’s statement that was released last month before Christmas, and the joint statement of the Anglican Archbishops of Canterbury and Jerusalem.
