Archbishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, accompanied by Rev’d Canon Don Binder, his chaplain, met with the Board of Trustees of the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem (AFEDJ), and with Mr. John Lent, the Executive Director of AFEDJ, on Friday October 15th, 2021, in Boston in the State of Massachusetts.
Bishop Gregory Rickel, the Bishop of Olympia, and the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the AFEDJ, welcomed Bishop Naoum on his first visit to the USA after his installation. Bishop Naoum thanked the Excecutive Director, the Board of Trustees, and the staff of AFEDJ, and all the supporters for their continued care and support of the Diocese of Jerusalem with all its parishes and institutions. Bishop Naoum also shared his vision for varied institutes and ministries of the Diocese, and explained the strategic plan with which the Diocese is proceeding. Bishop Naoum also talked about the current situation in the region, and the challenges the Diocese is facing due to the Corona Pandemic, and the financial challenges in the different regions of the Diocese. At the end Bishop Naoum prayed for those gathered and wished them peace and prosperity.
رئيس الأساقفة حسام نعوم يجتمع مع مجلس أمناء “أصدقاء مطرانية القدس الأسقفية الامريكان” في بوسطن يوم الجمعة ١٥/ ١٠/ ٢٠٢١
اجتمع رئيس الأساقفة الأنچليكاني في القدس المطران حسام نعوم ومرافقه القس الكنن دونالد بيندر مع مجلس أمناء جمعية أصدقاء مطرانية القدس الأسقفية الامريكان ومديرها التنفيذي السيد جون لينت، يوم الجمعة ١٥/ ١٠/ ٢٠٢١، في بوسطن بولاية ماسيتشوستس.
رحّب رئيس مجلس الأمناء وأسقف أبرشية اوليمبيا المطران چريچوري ريكل بالمطران نعوم القادم إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية للمرة الأولى بعد تنصيبه. قدم المطران نعوم شكره لرئيس وأعضاء مجلس أمناء “الأصدقاء الأمريكان” وجميع الموظفين والداعمين على محبّتهم لأبرشية القدس ودعمهم الدائم لخدمتها في الرعايا والمؤسسات. كما وشارك المطران نعوم بالرؤية التي رسمها وبدأ بالعمل بتحقيق أهدافها من خلال تخطيط استراتيجيات لكل مؤسسة وخدمة في المجمع الكنسي، وتحدث عن الأوضاع الراهنة في المنطقة وعرض لهم التحديات التي تواجهها الكنيسة بسبب جائحة كورونا والأزمات الاقتصادية الخانقة في جميع أقطارها. وفي الختام باركهم وتمنى لهم كل الخير والسلام.
