Archbishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, arrived in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt, accompanied by his Chaplain Rev’d Canon Don Binder, on Thursday night, to participate in the inaugural ceremony for the Anglican Province of Alexandria, which was established recently.
While there, Bishop Naoum met with Archbishop Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and Archbishop Sami Fawzi, the Primate of the Province of Alexandria, on Friday Morning, October 08th, 2021. In their meeting they discussed the situation in the Middle East, and the Christian presence in it, and the ministry of the church in Egypt and the Holy Land in particular.

رئيس الأساقفة حسام نعوم يلتقي مع رئيس أساقفة كانتربري ورئيس أساقفة إقليم الاسكندرية الجديد في القاهرة يوم الجمعة ٠٨/ ١٠/ ٢٠٢١
وصل رئيس الأساقفة الأنچليكاني في القدس المطران حسام نعوم ومرافقه القس الكنن دونالد بيندر إلى العاصمة المصرية القاهرة ليلة الخميس ليشاركا بالإحتفال الرسمي بتدشين إقليم الإسكندرية الأنچليكاني الذي تأسّس مؤخراً.
على هامش التحضيرات لخدمة التدشين التقى المطران نعوم برئيس أساقفة كانتربري جاستن ويلبي ورئيس أساقفة الإسكندرية سامي فوزي صباح يوم الجمعة ٠٨/ ١٠/ ٢٠٢١ حيث تداولوا بشؤون الأوضاع بالشرق الأوسط والحضور المسيحي فيها وخدمة الكنيسة في مصر والأرض المقدسة.
