Archbishop Michael Lewis, the Primate of the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East, Archdeacon Imad Zorob, Rev’d Dr. Habib Badr, Rev’d Joseph Kassab, and Rev’d Dr. Edgard Traboulsi were also present in the meeting.
Archbishop Welby was not able to visit Lebanon, therefore he met with representatives from the Anglican and Evangelical Churches via Zoom, to inquire about the current situation in Lebanon. He listened attentively to all, while they explained the hardships the people and the churches have to endure, due to the challenges that Lebanon is facing.
It was agreed to meet again and to keep the conversation going, to create a vision for shared ministry, and more cooperation between the Anglican Church, the Evangelical Churches, and all the churches in Lebanon.
