Archbishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem joins in welcoming the new Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Adolfo Tito Yllana in his official entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Thursday September 30th, 2021. Rev’d Canon Don Binder, and Rev’d Wadie Far accompanied Bishop Naoum. The Heads of the Churches in Jerusalem, clergy, monks, nuns, and laity all gathered at the Latin Patriarchate, and processed towards the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Fr. Francesco Patton, the Custos of the Holy Land, welcomed Bishop Yllana. After a special service, the Apostolic Nuncio gave his official speech. Bishop Yllana is the successor of Bishop Leopoldo Girelli, who was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to India. Bishop Yllana is originally from the Philippines, and has been appointed as Apostolic Nuncio to Israel and Cyprus and Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine.
We wish Bishop Yllan a blessed and fruitful ministry in representing Pope Francis in our midst.

رئيس الأساقفة حسام نعوم يشارك في استقبال القاصد الرسولي الجديد في القدس يوم الخميس 30 /09 /2021
شارك رئيس الأساقفة الأنچليكاني في القدس المطران حسام نعوم في استقبال القاصد الرسولي الجديد في القدس سيادة المطران ادولفو تيتو ايلانا خلال دخوله الرسمي الى كنيسة القيامة يوم الخميس 30 /09 /2021. رافق المطران نعوم كل من القس الكنن دونالد بيندر والقس وديع الفار. اجتمع رؤساء كنائس القدس والاكليروس والرهبان والراهبات والشعب في بطريركية اللاتين ومن هناك انطلق الموكب الرسمي سائراً نحو كنيسة القيامة، حيث كان في استقبال المطران ايلانا، حارس الأراضي المقدسة الأب فرانشيسكو باتون، وبعد خدمة صلاة خاصة القى القاصد الرسولي كلمته الرسمية. المطران ايلانا هو خلف المطران ليوبولدو جيريللي الذي تم تعيينه في الهند. المطران ايلانا هو فيليبيني الأصل وسيشغل وظيفة القاصد الرسولي في القدس وفلسطين، والسفير البابوي في اسرائيل وقبرص.
