The Synod ('Majma') for the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem met from 9 - 11November 2015 in Amman. Archbishop Suheil addressed the Synod on this year’s theme - Sowing and Reaping - and commented on what an excellent spirit there was during the proceedings.
On Sunday, 18 October 2015, four members of the congregation of the Virgin Mary Episcopal Church, Irbid, Jordan, were confirmed by Archbishop Suheil. The candidates had been prepared for confirmation by the Reverend Canon Samir Esaid. It was a joyous occasion for all present. Please do keep the candidates and all in Irbid in your prayers.
Under the patronage of His Grace AB Suheil Dawani, the parish of Emmanuel Anglican Church in Ramleh celebrated the Diocesan Feast of Thanksgiving, Sunday, 11 October 2015. As part of this annual celebration, the parish also inaugurated the rehabilitated section of the church facility and premises.
Chaired by Archbishop Suheil and facilitated by Archdeacon Luay Haddad, the Diocesan Clergy gathered for their Annual Meeting in Amman, Jordan 5 - 7 October 2015. “This annual meeting was such a wonderful time of sharing, fellowship and discussion,” said Archdeacon Luay Haddad.
On 9 September 2015, Archbishop Suheil Dawani visited St. Luke’s Hospital in Nablus. He inspected the renovations of the main entrance and the emergency exit of the Hospital. He also visited the Hospital’s various departments where he was provided with progress updates.
