Arabic Article Follows ↓ The Anglican Cathedral in Jerusalem celebrated Thanksgiving (Harvest) Sunday. With members from both the Arabic and English speaking congregations present. During the service the fruits of the land where blessed which were impeded in both the Eucharist and the sermon by Archbishop Hosam Naoum. After the service the congregations planted an olive tree, to symbolise their commitment to Safeguarding Creation and as a sign of their participation in the Anglican Communion Forest, which was an initiative by the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Bishops of the Anglican Communion during the Lambeth Conference.
