On Sunday, 6th September 2015 (14th Sunday after Trinity), Archbishop Suheil presided at a packed St. George’s Cathedral, where the English-speaking congregation and the Arabic-speaking congregation were together. Dean of St. George’s Cathedral, The Very Revd Hosam Naoum, preached on the grace of God.

Dean Naoum reflected on how we must learn from generosity of Christ as we respond to those in need, particularly those feeling persecution in Palestine and Syria. He noted that the Prime Minister of Finland had opened his house to those in need. While we cannot all do great things, we can all do small things in love (to paraphrase Mother Theresa). Pilgrims were welcomed on Sunday from across the globe, including the UK, Canada and the US.
