Archbishop Hosam Naoum, the Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, met with the Diocesan clergy via Zoom on Monday November 29th, 2021. Rev’d Malcom Forest, the Rector of the English-Speaking Congregation at the Redeemer Church in Amman, opened the meeting with a prayer, then Archdeacon Imad Zorob , the Rector of All Saints Church in Beirut, offered a meditation on the challenges and hardships of the situation in Lebanon. Bishop Naoum thanked the clergy, and shared words of encouragement concerning the ministry in both parishes and institutions. He also convened a discussion to evaluate the Diocesan Synod that took place earlier this month. Rev’d Ibrahim Nairous shared with the group the progress of the committee concerned with enhancing pastoral ministry in the city of Fuheis. At the end of the meeting, Bishop Naoum wished good health to all, and blessed ministries and services in the Advent and Christmas Seasons.
