On the 3rd Sunday of Advent, also known as “Gaudete” or “Rejoicing Sunday”, the Arabic and English speaking congregations of the Cathedral Church of St George the Martyr, Jerusalem, joyfully gathered for the annual Christmas Bazaar, opened by Archbishop Suheil and Dean Hosam, Sunday, 13 December 2015.
Members of the community baked cakes and other delicious food, mulled wine was brewed, and soup was served. Along with wares from the Princess Basma Center, funds were raised both for the Princess Basma, and for Iraqi and Syrian refugees in Jordan, through the ministry of St. Paul’s Church, Ashrafiyeh, Amman.
