On behalf of the Diocese, Archbishop Suheil attended the dedication of Immanuel Chapel at Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) on 13 October 2015.

It was a wonderful service at which the Archbishop of Canterbury preached an engaging sermon on how we bring ourselves, our sins, our difficulties and our joys into church buildings, which allow us to gather as community and help us to be transformed further into the body of Christ, as we seek to unify as a church: Archbishop Justin said: “My heart breaks when I think of our divisions [in the Church]. How they offend Christ. I look at my old friend [Archbishop Suheil], whom I love and respect, in a place of conflict and suffering… O God, we need a united Church.”

Please do give thanks for the work of VTS, who are such supporters of our Diocese, and keep praying for unity and all who train for the priesthood.
