On 1 October 2015, Archdeacon Rafiq Rafah met His Grace Archbishop Suheil Dawani and the Very Revd Hosam Naoum, Dean of St. George’s Cathedral, having traveled from Canada with his son Amin.
Archdeacon Rafah among other things wrote, “Church in Troubled Water: A History of the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem.” He began his ministry in Haifa in 1948 and served in many other churches in the Diocese of Jerusalem, including his home Parish of St. Paul’s in Shafa-Amr.
