Aiming at human growth and progression toward the wide horizons of education and enlightenment.

MISSION: We, at The Bishop's School Amman, take pride in our 75-year tradition of nurturing and guiding the future leaders of Jordan. Since our founding in 1936, the Bishop’s School had a straightforward mission: to offer a first-rate quality education to our students so they can better serve and develop their beloved Jordan. With time our mission has grown to become more encompassing: we strive to provide our students with a quality education that helps them grow into empowered human beings who work on realizing their potentials through being active life-long learners, reflective and critical thinkers who maintain a high degree of emotional intelligence and adopt a strong humane set of values, knowledge creators, initiators of change, responsible and productive citizens aware of their cultural heritage and open to diversity. Accordingly, this document aims at putting forth basic principles upon which we, at The Bishop's School Amman, operate to govern our dealings and pave the way toward excellence.

VISION: The Bishop’s School for Boys’ vision stems from the belief that we are rational and ethical as well as a school of soul and spirit, in a constant state of equilibrium from which wisdom will surely follow.

We are a live being, continuously in a process of growth.  In touch with the variety of rapid changes taking place in the 21st century, we aspire to be pioneers in walking ourselves uniquely through it, with the 22nd century at the tip of our fingers.  Today as we open the doors of our learning organization to communicate with a larger learning community, we embrace a dynamic process and commit ourselves to celebrating diversity and promoting global harmony to facilitate an intercultural and international understanding that will place us at the heart of the world.
