Welcome to the family of supporters of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem
It is our fervent hope that all benefit mutually from developing a relationship with the Diocese of Jerusalem. The Diocese needs your support to sustain it as Christians emigrate, and to invest in projects which will help it to become self-sustaining, exerting a Christian presence of peace and reconciliation with mutual respect, in an interfaith region in turmoil.
Thank you for wishing to support the ministry of the Diocese of Jerusalem.

The Development Office
Currently composed of a team of staff members and volunteers with other primary responsibilities, the development group of the Diocese focuses on building relationships with global partners and securing grants and low-interest loans to assist the Bishop in his goal to make the Diocese self-sustaining in five years.
Crisis Assistance
At present many of our ministries, most especially those in Palestine, are in urgent need of support to continue their work, as a result of the ongoing conflict. This includes health care and rehabilitation for those unable to pay for it, humanitarian aid to those unable to provide their daily bread, and scholarship support for the children of our educational ministries.
Specific Programs and Projects
Many of the support needs of the Diocesan ministries are for specific projects, both as one time cost and those that recur.
Sustainable Development
The Diocese of Jerusalem has numerous ongoing projects that include building and renovation, as well as development of income generating projects that will provide sustainable revenue in future years.
Ongoing and running costs
While support to these costs may not be as attractive as others, they are vital to the continuing work of the Diocese and our ministries. This covers salaries, maintenance, and the costs incurred by keeping our service ministries and parishes open. The Diocese functions in the traditional Anglican system, with all clergy as employees of the Diocese. Due to the emigration of Christians in the decades of unrest, our parishes strive to sustain basic operational costs involved in ministry and rely very heavily on volunteers.
